On Thursday 4th of May grade 5 and 6 kids from Wangaratta Primary School rode to Glenrowan McDonalds as part of their Bike Education program. The total distance was about 50km and most people made the ride. Lots of parents helped with the groups and we’d like to say a big thank you to them. In our group we had a competition to see who would find the big “M†sign first. I (Joel) found it first. When we got to McDonalds we walked to the counter and most people ordered a Double Beef and Bacon Burger Combo Meal. Ten minutes before we were to leave we got informed that group 6 still hadn’t got to McDonalds. It turned out they missed a turn and went a different way. It was funny. On the way back it was very quiet. Most of the time hardly anyone talked. We found out that it was hard on the way, but it was harder on the way back. There was a great sigh of relief throughout all the groups as we crossed the children’s crossing. As a reward we got icy-poles and then we went home. It was a great day. By Jaimon and Joel.
