5/6 Urban Camp to Melbourne

On Monday 10 July the other grade 5 and 6’s and I went down to Melbourne to stay at the Urban Camp.
The train trip there was fun. We talked about what it would be like and we took some photos.
A man met us at the train station and collected our bags in a mini-van. When we arrived at Urban Camp I was so excited and I could tell that the other kids were as well.
The man told us where our dorms were and told us where to meet after we put our stuff away.
The food was delicious. I had spaghetti. The meat balls were huge and on the second night I had chicken
schnitzel. The desserts were also great.
That afternoon we went to the zoo. It was good because we got to see everything we wanted to. The best thing I saw at the zoo was the Meerkats.

The parts I liked best were riding on the trains and trams. You could look out the window and talk to people.
On the last day we went to the Art Gallery and a lady told us about 4 pieces of art.
When we left the gallery we caught a train to Southern Cross Station, had lunch, then caught the train home.
