As part of Science and Creative Writing activities in Prep/One L, Living Dioramas were created.

Children used plastic meat trays to hold live green moss. The moss formed rolling green hills.
Children scoured the school yard collecting various stones, different coloured sands, rocks, twigs etc.

Students also fashioned plasticine to add more features to their landscapes.

The children watered their dioramas each day to keep the moss alive.

They all did an excellent job.
