INSECTS

This term we have been learning about Insects. We have written Cinquain poems, Acrostic poems and stories with an insect as a character. We made 3D insects and a “wanted poster” about an insect.

We went across to the oval to look for insects. We had a closer look at them using the microscopes and how they move.

GRANDPARENTS’ DAY

We enjoyed Grandparents’ Day last week. We liked reading to our Grandparents, performing our puppet show, reciting our poems and playing Maths games.

Rosi Parisotto

Rosi Parisotto came to our grade last Monday to read us some books. She told us she was Italian and when she was little her mum used to tell her stories in Italian.
