This is Molly, Sofia and Tarni on ‘Crazy Hair Day’.
It was on the Friday 16th March.

On Friday 16 March our school participated in the “Worlds Greatest Shave”, a fundraiser for the Leukemia Foundation.

Thanks to the hard work of our Grade 5/6 fundraising leadership group, the day was a total success, with Wangaratta Primary School donating $278, and City Colts Cricket Club donating $72 for a total of $350 all up.

This resulted in Mr Hamilton, Mr Pahl and Miss Dews all getting their heads shaved and Miss Gigliotti, Mrs Ferres and Miss Mata all getting their hair colored.

It was fantastic to see all of the students with their crazy hair. Hopefully this means there will be many more fundraisers this year.

A big thank you to all families for donating towards this worthy cause. Also a big thank you to Sheree Syres for doing the hairdressing, donating her time and colour hairspray.
