Italian Day

What a fantastic day!

So many children (and teachers) made a huge effort to get into the spirit of the day by dressing up as an Italian or in the Italian colors of green, white and red. Our parade showed the enthusiasm of our children towards the Italian program and is an enormous credit to all – also, the behaviour and co-operation during the day was exemplary even though the kids were inside all day due to the rain.

What activities did the kids do?
• Mona Lisa art lessons…watch out Leonardo.
• Soccer – indoors due to the rain – it looked like a hoot!
• Making Carnevale masks – what creative kids.
• Mt. Vesuvius volcanoes – eruptions and lava.
• Tombola – Italian bingo!!
• Listening to the Italian fairy story “Pinocchio”.
