This term Grade 3 & 4 are learning about different types of energy. We have learnt that energy is never lost but is changed to a different type of energy after being used.

There are many different types of energy including heat, movement, chemical, sound, electrical, solar, gravity, hydro, nuclear, lightning and wind. We are focusing on four types of energy this term: heat, movement, chemical and electrical.

How to save energy!
At school we have carbon cutters to help save energy. The carbon cutter turns off all the lights at play time and lunch time and the lights and computers at the end of the day.

At home we can all help by turning off the lights if you are not in the room and other appliances such as the TV.
