We are very pleased to announce that Wangaratta Primary School has been declared one of Wangaratta’s Icons.

As part of Wangaratta’s 50 year jubilee celebrations, it compiled a list of 50 icons of the Rural City of Wangaratta. Nearly one hundred nominations were received by the Wangaratta Council.

These Icons were selected as outstanding examples of our culture, industry, natural landscape and community spirit. They represent the values and traditions of our community and reflect our rich and vibrant history.

A big thank you to the small group of students and parents involved in organising our nomination.
